Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge grew up in the countryside as a part of the lower class with his sister Fan. During his childhood, Scrooge attended a boarding school according to his father's wishes.
In his youth, Mr. Scrooge was apprenticed in the once-renowned Fezziwig & Co. There, he learned many fine business skills.
Early in his professional career, Mr. Scrooge realized how money could offer him control over his life. For many years, he has had an extremely conservative attitude towards money; saving every cent he could and lowering wages to a minimum. However, in light of recent events, his perspective has changed. Mr. Scrooge now appreciates the life that he has recieved and the society that he lives in.
