At this festive season of the year, it is more than usually desirable that one should make provision for the poor and destitute, who suffer greatly at the present time. Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts. Now is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt, and Abundance rejoices.
To celebrate the new year and to bring happiness to everyone, Scrooge & Marley's is donating a very large sum of money to help the Poor, especially to buy them some meat and drink, and means of warmth.
We believe that every person, whatever their condition, should be able to enjoy happiness throughout their life and to cherish the world around them. Any help, small or large, will benefit the whole city of London.
